Front Door Shelf
I was making a rather large tabletop ornamental piece that I wanted outside, the Chrysler Building Birdhouse posted on this site. Where to put it was the problem.
I resolved the matter by constructing a 15” square shelf, made from cedar 2×4 and bolting it into the brick.
Still, I wanted to take some of the vertical strain off the lag bolts. So I added the support. Where did I get that from? It is a tracing of the support in my kitchen’s “bar seats” section.
