Pegs & Jokers Game Board
A friend asked me to make him a game board for a game called Pegs and Jokers. He gave me the specs on the spacing he wanted between holes in the board and the correct layout. He also wanted what you'd call a "hand rest" edging on the board.
The playing surface board is white oak. Since the edges, the hand support part, was to be painted, I used pine for it.
The little square in the middle is for playing cards, laid side-by-side.
I used water based paints for the colors and covered everything with a couple of coats of gloss polyurethane.
